Chagee’s Newly Launched Teaspresso: Exclusively Available in Sri Petaling Outlet Only!

Chagee’s newly launched teaspresso is their first in Malaysia, and to enjoy this exclusive innovation, you’ll only be able to get it in their Sri Petaling Branch!

But first – do you know what a teaspresso is? “Teaspresso” directly translates to a concoction of tea and espresso, perfect for those who like a mixture of both flavours in their drink. Teaspresso has the charm of blending the complexity of the espresso and the depth of the tea, making it the perfect sipper for us Malaysians who are attuned to drinks of the similar character such as “Cham”!

There are four special drinks on their new Teapresso Menu:

Yunnan Pu’Er Tea Latte – RM16.90

This one is our undisputed top pick! The exceptional aroma of Cheng Gan Puer not only complements the rich notes of coffee with its captivating aroma but also leaves a delightful, lingering fragrance on the aftertaste. Cheng Gan Puer has secured its place as the unrivalled choice for those seeking a delightful and aromatic tea-coffee fusion. All in all, this is a solid 9/10 for us!

Da Hong Pao Tea Latte – RM17.90

In this cup, the coffee flavour takes a backseat, but fear not – as the enchanting aroma of Da Hong Pao is as delightful as ever. The subtlety of the coffee allows the signature fragrance of Da Hong Pao to shine, offering a familiar experience. Although not as great as the Yunnan Pu’Er Tea Latte, this comes close at a 7/10.

Orea Yunnan Pu’Er Tea Frappe – RM25.90

Sadly, this blend leans towards hefty sweetness, with cream that we find a tad too greasy for our liking. The overall flavour of the tea itself is unfortunately overshadowed with the strong taste of oreo, drowning the delicate aroma of the tea itself. Perhaps for those with a sweet tooth, this could be a delightful treat. Our rating for this will be a 4/10.

Caramel Da Hong Pao Tea Frappe – RM26.90

Sadly, we had to skip sipping on this one because the price tag simply didn’t justify a frappe. Despite this, we’d like to imagine that the addition of caramel may have the potential to create a harmonious fusion of tea and coffee – given that it’s a common sweetener used to elevate drinks.
