First Cheevit Cheeva Finally Opens in Malaysia

Cheevit Cheeva, a renowned dessert cafe from Thailand, has finally made its way to Malaysia!

About Cheevit Cheeva

This cafe originated in Chiang Mai and has expanded its presence to various locations in Thailand including Hat Yai and Bangkok since 2015. They are known for its artisanal desserts, particularly its bingsu (shaved ice) and shokupan (toast) in several flavours.

Check out what we’ve ordered:

Salty Egg Yolk Bua-Loi Bingsu

Salty Egg Yolk Bua-Loi Bingsu (RM26 for Small, RM37 for Large): This dessert is unexpectedly good. It features a generous serving of salted egg yolk sauce over finely shaved ice, topped with chewy bua-loi (rice balls). The combination is surprisingly harmonious, with the savory salted egg balancing the sweetness of the bingsu perfectly .Whoever came up with this combination is truly a genius.

Thai Tea Sang-Ka-Ya & Shokupan

Thai Tea Sang-Ka-Ya & Shokupan (RM24 for Small, RM36 for Large): If you are a Thai tea lover, this is a must-try. The rich and creamy Thai tea bingsu is already a treat on its own, but when paired with the shokupan toast, it adds a slight bitterness that complements the sweetness. The toast also adds a contrasting texture and flavor that enhances the overall experience.

Toast Shokupan Sang-Ka-Ya

Toast Shokupan Sang-Ka-Ya (RM32): The toast is perfectly done, with a buttery aroma that pairs well with their kaya and coconut meat. The addition of coconut meat adds a pleasant chewiness, making each bite a delightful experience.

Yuzu Unicorn
Kokuto & Fresh Milk

Yuzu Unicorn (RM16): This drink is a yuzu sparkling beverage with rainbow jelly and bubbles. The tangy yuzu flavor is refreshing, and the colorful bubbles and jelly make it a fun and unique drink. It’s a perfect palate cleanser after indulging in the rich desserts.

Kokuto & Fresh Milk (RM14): This drink features light and creamy milk with chewy pearls, though it lacks a strong brown sugar flavor. It’s a great option for those who prefer their drinks less sweet but still enjoy the texture of boba.
