Giant croissants at the Blackbixon In KL

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good French pastry? And as they say you can never go wrong with the classics especially a buttery, flaky, and soft croissant. Now, take that, and multiply it by 10 and that is exactly what you will find at the Blackbixon in Kuala Lumpur!

It is located in a refurbished 2-storey bungalow, it has a beautiful glasshouse dining area as well as a rooftop terrace with a view of the Exchange 106 building or also known lovingly by some as the “Songkok building”. If you are worried about parking, fret not, there is a small parking lot situated right in front of the café for your convenience, though it does fill up quite fast.

But what if I don’t have a car? Or just don’t want to deal with the traffic? Its okay you can take public transportation. Just ride all the way up to the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) MRT stop and then from there it is just a seven minute walk to the café.

Don’t want to go all the way to Kuala Lumpur? They have another outlet in Petaling Jaya!
You can take the LRT Kelana jaya Line all the way to Asia Jaya and then from there it is a 16 minute walk to the eatery.

The team at the Blackbixon said go big or go home, literally! Large enough to feed up to eight people, it comes with unsalted butter as well as cream, we recommend you order a cup of coffee or tea to go with you giant crescent shaped pastry. Priced at RM 53 per piece we think it’s an absolute steal for such a monstrous piece of pastry! It is crisp, airy, and fragrant . Everything you want out of your croissant! It is recommended that you call ahead to pre-book your croissant since only six are baked fresh every day to avoid disappointment.

But wait, what if I don’t want a giant croissant? It’s okay they have an extensive menu to choose from, ranging from pasta to burgers even schnitzels!
