Recently, a renowned bagel café gained viral attention on social media, drawing long queues of eager customers keen to try their delectable bagels.
Situated in a terrace housing area near TRX Mall in KL, this café is conveniently close for those who wish to combine bagel indulgence with a shopping spree at the mall.To avoid lengthy waits due to crowds, it’s advisable to arrive early before the café opens.
Upon arrival, the attentive service crew will guide you to your seat. Guests can fill out an order form provided on the table and then proceed to the cashier to place their order. Remarkably, all food and beverages are served promptly, typically within 10 minutes.
During our visit, we sampled their signature offerings:
B.E.C Bagel: This original bagel is generously filled with hash browns, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and vegetables, accompanied by a side of French fries. While overall enjoyable and comforting, the scrambled eggs were slightly salty, possibly due to uneven mixing.
Triple Chocolate Bagel: A chocolate lover’s delight, this bagel features chocolate filling, topped with chocolate glaze and crushed nuts. Not overly sweet, it strikes a perfect balance between bitterness and sweetness.
White & Black Coffee: Although resembling standard café fare, the coffee here shows potential for improvement in quality.
Ham & Cheese Bagel: It’s delicious in flavour, but misses the mark on the texture. Instead of the expected bagel chewiness, it leans more towards a bread-like texture. However, the savoury ham and melted cheese combination is undeniably tasty!
The café’s ambiance exudes a charming Korean café vibe, with its old-school, vintage aesthetic that’s undeniably Instagram-worthy—a haven for the new generation seeking aesthetically pleasing spaces.
